About me

Hi welcome to my blog!!!

I trust you are going to enjoy the reading about my life & my journey with having MS (Multiple Sclerosis) & how I approach it all.

I am 34 years old and was diagnosed 16 years ago, I was 18 years old & really busy in my last year at College – I had (& still do) have the attitude that I can do anything!!!

Yes I suffer 24/7 from this disease but IT’S NOT WHO I AM!
I am a busy, independent women who loves people, to help those less off then myself, spend time with loved ones, love my amazing family, spend time with my rock; the ‘Lover of my Soul’ Jesus my strength who I couldn’t/wouldn’t want to do life without.
Appreciate how incredibly blessed I am and as they say ‘If you don’t use it you loose it’ so always looking for the next thing I can dive into. And most of all  help with and the people I can get along side & support.
Those that know me they know how I keep busy, am independent & most of all determined even on those horribly frustrating days but hey it could be worse …
Having these characteristics are often at my own determent.

However they help me keep going especially as I am always choosing to focus on what I can do over what Im missing out on and have lost however hard that is. You learn to grieve, move on, be grateful & content for what you can do. the wonderfully blessed life I have & get to share with the most incredible friends.

MOTTO – There is always someone thats worse off!
Im delighted to be naming this blog ‘Under His Wing’ based on a painting I had done for me – truly fighting to describe my journey with MS.  ‘Under His Wing’ is base on a scripture I hold very close to my heart.
Psalm 91:4-5
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day.
