6 MONTHS POST TRANSPLANT – CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!
Today 6 months ago was a VERY emotional day!
4.5 months in hospitals – tick!
Symptoms have DISAPPEARED or improved
NO NEW SYMPTOMS
Recovery a lot harder & longer then first thought …
First Spring in 21 years with not experiencing a relapse
Old medications not needed – went down the toilet!
Continously reminded that I won’t have a healthy/proper immune system until May 2016
Was’nt sick all Winter
3 lots of antibiotics to deal with a throat infection in Spring
Able to sit in sun/heat for much longer
More energy
Less recovery time needed
Back to my amazing home!
Soooo grateful!
NEW THINGS AHEAD – IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL
Resigned from work after 6 years
Time to hand over the baton
Miss those I worked with
Living on a very strict budget
Time to heal
New Priorities
Sooo appreciative
So glad I had the Transplant
END OF A CHAPTER
Learning to drive with hand controls
Rediscovering my PASSION FOR FOOD
Rediscovering my PASSION FOR GARDENING
Time for new projects
Time with friends
Not much spare time
Have to pace myself
Discovering a NEW Life
Loving having short hair – go pixie!
GRATEFULLY APPRECIATIVE OF LIFE -ITS A GIFT!
The Lord is Faithful
Lover of my soul
